Building in this style appeals to the pioneer in us - simple, no frills, healthy and easy living. The Little Shack is based on enquiries for basic and adequate bach, workers cottage, or the first stage of setting up on a bare piece of land. Features - based on customer enquiries and best ideas - include:

Eco friendly compost toilet/wastewater drainage system A small amount of solar power Rainwater collection that gets lifted to a higher header tank Concrete flooring is usually more cost effective on good flat site. Roof first construction.  Permited as a dwelling but can be a way to get, say a bach, underway & collect water, camp under (caravan?) The one simple roof can cover the Little Shack, outdoor living and lockable sheds/carports. Small cosy easy to heat  for indoor living. Large lockable outdoor area for real living

The Little Shack is as small as we feel we could go.  We can build bigger, and add lockup sheds plus more.
